The Texas-based group will close the Tilburg plant and transfer the production of polyamide compounds to the Mozzate facility.

The Texas group Ascend Performance Materials has announced its intention to shut down the technopolymer compounding plant in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and to relocate the production of Vydyne-branded polyamide compounds to Mozzate, in the province of Como, where it operates through Poliblend by Ascend, a company acquired four years ago along with Esseti Plast.
